Must visit. Put on your bucket list
a beautiful, wild place, nothing civilized but worth visiting - you can visit it by fast motorboat - a trip organized by Kaki Tours in Durres
Breath taking.. Get goggles if you want to take a dive. Wear Aquashoes.
Cool stop! Restaurant with food you can buy and drinks. There was it in a bathroom. Basic but functional! I will say the other days we visited were cooler but this one was the biggest! Fun stop!
Linda praia . Fomos em tour de barco saindo de Vlore . Vale o passeio completo que inclui outras praias e Blue Cave.
Clean and clear beaches
The area is currently being irreparably destroyed by the Trump family.
I've never been here and sadly I don't have the money to undertake such an amazing adventure; I love exploring caves. Albania is such a beautiful country. I'm here commenting because of my concern for this area, now that Americans have decided to build a resort of 100+ rooms on a nearby uninhabited island to the north. Apparently, all bribes have been paid and promises (lies) have been made. Stay strong my friends. And please accept my sincerest apology on the behalf of American Voters.
A beautiful natural spot with turquoise water, cliffs and great views. Ideal for swimming, diving and a short adventure trip away from the main tourist spots in Malta.
It's indeed very beautiful. I made it walking from Orikum and do not recommend anyone to try this. Took me 14h with 1h of rest to do it back and forth. There's no path to go down, you need to cross through bushes. I had time, solid pants and plenty of water but it's difficult, dangerous, and not pleasant at all. Don't get confused by the trail mentioned on apps like OpenStreetMap: there is NO trail for the last part. If you're OK to risk it, consider it'll take 3h EACH way through bushes when you leave the main road down to the beach. But yeah the place is beautiful...
Amazing bay Clearest colours and the cave its amazing!!!
De vis!
The most perfect beach. Soft white sand. Clear green and blue sea. Not a person in sight. Bit of a hike to get there, but well worth it. On the way back, ended up in the naval base property, and timed it wrong so it was late at night! That said, they did what they needed to do and were very helpful. If I were to go back, I'd definitely download the gpx map and use that. There is a map at the beginning of the walk, but not very detailed in that you cannot make out which way to go to avoid the naval base. See pics. I've gone back and edited the map. If you don't turn off and follow the blue path, and end up following the road (red one), you will end up on the naval base without even knowing it! Not accessible by car.

Just amazing
Unique place!!!
Caves accessible by wading through water that's up to 1.80 meters deep. Inside, the reflections of the light create incredible effects.
Free beach with no services and beautiful, crystal-clear water
The only Albanian peninsula protected as a green zone and designated as a natural monument. It features vast stretches of untouched greenery, mostly shrubs, with a rugged, mountainous terrain. Scattered along its coastline are a few pristine, wild beaches with crystal-clear waters. The eastern side is more accessible, with several small beaches such as Shën Vasil and Shën Jani. The western side remains completely wild and can only be reached by boat. One of the most famous natural landmarks here is the Cave of Haxhi Alia. We sincerely hope this national park remains protected and is not sold off for construction, as it is one of the last unspoiled coastal treasures of Albania a true natural asset that has resisted the wave of build massacre.
Handsome
Beautiful blue waters bathed in sunlight. A small cavern accessible only by boat; there is no land access.
