Named after Haxhi Ali, an Albanian sailor and warrior from Ulcinj who sought refuge in this cave with his son. Archaeological artifacts found inside — linked to ancient trade routes — confirm the cave was used by traders and travelers for centuries.
HistoricalCave Interior
The main chamber: 30m deep, 10-12m wide, 18m high. Stalactites and stalagmites formed over millennia. Sunlight reflecting off turquoise water creates an ethereal blue-green glow on the cave walls.

The massive natural limestone arch rising 18 meters above sea level. Best photographed from the approaching boat — one of the most iconic views on the Albanian Riviera.
ViewpointCliff Waterfall

The crystal-clear waters surrounding the cave offer stunning views from the boat with visibility exceeding 15 meters. Swimming and snorkeling are not permitted in this protected area.

I've never been here and sadly I don't have the money to undertake such an amazing adventure; I love exploring caves. Albania is such a beautiful country. I'm here commenting because of my concern for this area, now that Americans have decided to build a resort of 100+ rooms on a nearby uninhabited island to the north. Apparently, all bribes have been paid and promises (lies) have been made. Stay strong my friends. And please accept my sincerest apology on the behalf of American Voters.
